Our Cody Trolley Tours fleet includes two trolleys and a shuttle van.

Ricochet

Our primary trolley "Ricochet," seats 38 adults (42 with children) in climate controlled comfort. This trolley was manufactured just for us by the Molly Corporation in Ogunquit, Maine. It's built on a 2003 Ford motor home chassis with a Triton V-10 engine that runs on gasoline.

Ricochet also has four video monitors that are used to showcase key Cody shops and attractions before the tour departs. Four speakers are spread throughout the cabin to comfortably broadcast the commentary of two live guides to every seat in the trolley.

Insider's Tip: The best leg room is located in the back half of the trolley. The large historical photos shown by the guides are easily seen from any seat in the trolley. 99% of all tours are performed with this trolley.

Scout

Our original trolley "Scout," seats 31 passengers and was purchased used from San Diego's Old Town Trolley company. This 1980 Boyertown Trolley has a Chevy 454 engine that is powered by propane. This trolley performed in San Diego, CA and Key West, Florida before we purchased it in 2001.

Insider's tip: The back half of this trolley has roll-up flaps for summer use. These are great seats when we travel in the city at 30 mph or less. They get very windy though once we head through the Shoshone Canyon toward the dam. This trolley is used as an emergency back-up to the primary trolley and is mainly used for wedding and transportation charters.

Shuttle Van

Our 1992 Dodge Ram 11-passenger van is used to pick up individuals and small groups from local lodging and bring them to our trolley station on the porch of Buffalo Bill's Irma Hotel. There is no charge for this service if you are purchasing a trolley tour ticket. This van has air conditioning and comfortable seats. The van has a step stool to make the climb in easier.

Insider Tips: The lodging locations east of the Irma Hotel get picked up 30-35 minutes before the tour and are dropped off last after the tour. The locations west of the Irma Hotel get picked up 10-20 minutes before the tour and are dropped off first. If your time is tight, you'll save time by driving to our trolley station at the Irma Hotel yourself. There is plenty of free parking at and near the hotel.
